On my way to DJ a private event in Washington DC, I received an unexpected phone call that would change the course of my day. It was an invitation to DJ on Good Morning America for their Oscar recap party on Oscar Monday. The excitement and disbelief washed over me - of course, I couldn't turn down such an incredible opportunity! I kept the news to myself until the day before, not wanting anything to jeopardize this chance of a lifetime. As I stepped onto the set, I felt a surge of energy and confidence. The music flowed, the vibes were just right - I knew I was in my element. After the show, as I was making my way out, I crossed paths with none other than co-anchor Robin Roberts in the hallway. To my surprise, she complimented me, saying, 'Hey man, you're so cool.' Without missing a beat, I asked if we could take a picture together, and she graciously agreed. It was a moment I'll never forget. DJing on live TV, mingling with renowned personalities - it felt like I was meant for this. As I reflect on that exhilarating experience, I am grateful for the opportunity and the memories made. Here's to seizing moments and creating unforgettable stories.
